This delightful collection of nine hummingbird illustrations brings back to life an 1833 work by Sir William Jardine, 7th Baronet of Applegarth, a Scottish naturalist known for his editing of a long series of natural history books, The Naturalist's Library. Prints like these were originally printed in black ink and then coloured by hand, and we’ve digitally restored them here in our Lancashire studio to reawaken their vivid colours.
To ensure exceptional quality, we use archival grade methods to create this exquisite hummingbird print and frame it using sustainable wood so that it’s ready to hang. Every part is hand cut, printed and assembled in Britain to create pictures of distinction with the lowest possible carbon footprint.
